A simple “no” can be powerful, and the fear of sounding rude or assertive with a “no” shouldn’t stop you from using the word, according to a group of successful travel executives.
Jennifer Doncsecz from Bethlehem, Penn’s VIP Vacations, and Robin Sanchez from Montecito Village Travel spoke during TMR’s MasterAdvisor series last week about how assertive and important it is.
“Sometimes when we say ‘no’ we support it with ‘because’,” said Doncsecz.
Doncsecz and Sanchez, along with Kirsten Little from Andavo Travel and Samarah Weil from Amarillo Travel Network, discussed their experiences as female leaders and how they could grow into the roles they now assume in the MasterAdvisor series.
