68: Justin Gurth, OL (Sr.) -Lehigh

Gurth chose Lehigh over several offers from the Patriot League and the Ivy League. He’s earned a starting role as a true newbie and hasn’t missed a game since.

The 6-foot-3,300-pounder started his Lehigh career by starting all 11 games with the correct tackle. In 2019 he moved to the middle, a position more suitable for him, and started another 11 games.

Gurth extended his starting streak to 25 this spring as part of Lehigh’s shortened three-game season. He was called up to the All-Patriot League Second Team.

With a full fall schedule, Gurth appears to remain one of the most consistent and talented offensive linemen in the Patriot League. He is following in his parents’ footsteps with a successful college career. His father Matt played football in Western Connecticut State, and his mother Laura played basketball in New Hampshire and is the school’s number 2 top scorer.
