PHILADELPHIA – Coming off of a thrilling victory versus Lafayette, the Lehigh men’s swimming and diving team was defeated 227-62 by Drexel Saturday morning in Philadelphia.

While his official times didn’t count as the Mountain Hawks had a lot of exhibitions, Aaron Williams really shined Saturday. Had his times counted, he would have won the 50-yard butterfly (22.79), been on the winning 200-yard medley relay team (1:32.33), won the 50-yard freestyle, and came in second in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

Since Williams’ times weren’t allowed to be counted as official wins, Drexel took home every first-place finish.

Elvin Lee came in second in the 50-yard butterfly (23.14), and Connor Goodyear came in second as well in the 200-yard freestyle (1:45.58).

Lee also tallied a third-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay team alongside Caleb Eberly, Nick Gewartowski and James Zhang with a time of 1:28.12.

Lehigh will go on a little bit of a break before returning to action against Seton Hall in West Orange, NJ, on Jan. 13.
