Women’s Basketball Games vs. Lafayette and Loyola Postponed

BETHLEHEM, PA. – The next two Lehigh women’s basketball game weekends against Lafayette and Loyola have been postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test within Mountain Hawks’ Tier 1 staff.

Lehigh’s games this weekend against Lafayette (February 6), in Lafayette (February 7), and next weekend in Loyola (February 13) and against Loyola (February 14) are all affected by the program break and will be postponed after talks with the schools and the league office.

NCAA TIER 1 DEFINITION (PDF): Tier 1 is the highest exposure level and consists of people for whom physical distancing and face covering are not possible or effective during athletic training or competition. Examples of relevant people are athletes, coaches, sports coaches, physical therapists, medical personnel, equipment personnel, and civil servants.
