BETHLEHEM, PA. – Lehigh lacrosse graduate Sondra Dickey was honored with the Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-American award Thursday night. Dickey continued to fill out the stats sheet in 2021 as she tops the Mountain Hawks in goals (22), groundballs (18), draw controls (30) and sales (15). Their 2.14 generated sales per competition are number 11 nationwide.

Dickey started the season on an attempt to score eight goals and nine points against a Drexel program that is now ranked nationwide. She also scored three goals against Saint Joseph’s and had seven points (six goals, one assist) against Army West Point. Meanwhile, Dickey has continued to make an impact across the field, winning Patriot League Midfielder of the Week three times and Defensive Player of the Week once. Most recently, Dickey received the defensive award by posting two ground balls, three generated sales and five draw controls in a 20-7 win over Bucknell – and scoring two goals at the same time. That season, Dickey became the first player in program history to climb into the top 10 for career goals, assists, points, groundballs, generated sales and draw controls.

Dickey and the Mountain Hawks return to a critical Patriot League competition Saturday when they host the No. 21 Navy at 12 p.m.
