Stitch Fix closes two distribution centers due to coronavirus
Stitch Fix Inc. SFIX, + 9.11%, said Friday it will have to close distribution centers in San Mateo County, California and Pennsylvania. The closure takes place after government mandates to contain the spread of the coronavirus. The California facility will be closed until April 7th. The Bethlehem, Penn. The facility will be closed indefinitely until Governor Tom Wolf announces a deadline. Stitch Fix has four other facilities in the United States. Stitch Fix’s stock is up 5.8% on the Friday before trading, but up 47.8% last year. The S&P 500 Index SPX, -0.48%, is down 14.7% over the past 12 months.
