BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania – The Lehigh men’s basketball team was recognized for academic achievement on Wednesday when the Mountain Hawks received a Team Excellence Award from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). Teams with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher in the 2019-20 academic year were recognized.
Lehigh joined Boston University when the Patriot League’s two men’s basketball programs were recognized.
The Mountain Hawks averaged 3.14 this spring, up from 3.57 in the fall. Nine Mountain Hawks were recently inducted onto the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll (for a GPA of 3.2 or higher in the spring semester), with five student-athletes being inducted on the Dean’s List (for a semester GPA of 3.6 or higher ).
