FreshDirect is stopping its online grocery service in Washington DC and Philadelphia, officials said.
“As a homegrown, trusted New York City brand, we are strengthening our commitment to servicing the city and the greater New York tri-state area,” the company announced in an August blog post.
Online ordering for Philadelphia and DC was stopped on Aug. 29, according to the company’s website.
Fresh Direct first launched in Philadelphia in 2012 and began servicing the DC area three years later.
