UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Monday night’s Lehigh-Penn State match at Jeffrey Field has been canceled due to inclement weather. The Mountain Hawks and Nittany Lions played just over 15 minutes before lightning forced a lengthy weather delay.

The two-time defending Big Ten champion Nittany Lions led 2-0 when play was halted but all statistics will be voided with the cancellation.

The Mountain Hawks will open Patriot League play Friday night when they welcome American to the Ulrich Sports Complex for a 6 pm match. Friday’s league opener will be broadcast on ESPN+.
