The music festival reopens after three flood-hit venues billboard

Officials say overnight floods sparked water rescues, road closures and the temporary closure of three areas at a music festival in eastern Pennsylvania, http://www.musikfest.org/Musikfest.

Authorities in the Lehigh Valley area said the torrents spilled over their banks Friday night and Saturday morning and a number of people had to be rescued from stalled cars.

Music Festival spokesman Mark Demko said People’s Square, Family Square and Craft Square were all flooded with water when Monocacy Creek flooded its banks. This year’s headliners included Dierks Bentley, Kesha, Jason Mraz and Gary Clark, Jr.
