Mountain Hawks Receive IWLCA Team and Individual Academic Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania – Lehigh’s women’s lacrosse team was named an Academic Honor Squad by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association on Tuesday, while seven Mountain Hawks were inducted into the Division I Academic Honor Roll. Lehigh received the Team Award for a Team GPA of 3.2 or higher in the 2020-21 academic year. Persons admitted to the honorary squad were juniors, seniors, or PhD students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher after the spring semester.

The recognized Mountain Hawks were Maya Chiesa, Jenna Garden, Claudia Hannover, Alexandra Ladda, Emma McGillis, Cecily Redfern and Jackie Stoller.

Lehigh Women’s Lacrosse has enjoyed impressive academic achievements, most recently achieving a GPA of 3.53 in the spring.

In addition, 24 Mountain Hawks were inducted into the Patriot League academic honor roll, while Ladda was inducted into the Academic All-Patriot League for the second time in her career.
