Men’s Tennis Announces 2023 Schedule

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Howard Talmud ’77 head coach Craig Schwartz unveiled the Lehigh men’s tennis 2023 schedule on Thursday. The Mountain Hawks’ schedule will feature 20 matches, 12 of which will take place in Bethlehem.

Lehigh will have a busy month of February hosting ten matches at the Lewis Tennis Center. The Mountain Hawks will open up the season against St. John’s on Friday, Feb. 3. Lehigh will host Marist on Saturday, Feb. 4 and Mount St. Mary’s on Sunday, Feb. 5 to close out the weekend.

The Mountain Hawks will host their first midweek match of the season on Wednesday, Feb. 8 when Fairleigh Dickinson comes to Bethlehem. Lehigh will host Drexel (Feb. 11) and Howard (Feb. 12) following its mid-week contest.

Lehigh will continue its non-league schedule on the weekend of Feb. 18 when Morgan State and Hofstra come to town. The Mountain Hawks will close out their ten-match home stand with a match against Siena (Feb. 25) and LIU (Feb. 26).

The Mountain Hawks will take two weeks off to recover before heading down to Orlando, Fla. for spring break. Lehigh is scheduled to compete against IUPUI on March 12 and James Madison on March 14.

Lehigh will return to Bethlehem to host its first league match of the season on March 18 when Loyola Maryland comes to town. The Mountain Hawks will travel to Hamilton, NY to take on Colgate on March 26.

Lehigh will be on the road for a majority of the month of April, traveling to five of six matches. On April 1, the Mountain Hawks will head down to Annapolis, Md. to take on Navy. The following day, Lehigh will travel to Villanova to take on the Wildcats.

From April 7-9, the Mountain Hawks will stay in West Point, NY to take on both Army and Boston University. Lehigh will then travel back to the Lehigh Valley to prepare for its final two matches of the season.

On April 11, the Mountain Hawks will head to Easton, Pa. to take on rival Lafayette in their second midweek match of the season. Lehigh will close out the regular season with a home match against Bucknell on April 15.

Following their final match of the regular season, the Mountain Hawks will travel back to Hamilton, NY for the Patriot League Championships from April 20-23.
