In partnership with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida, Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida is offering free monthly screening for Autism Spectrum Disorders for infants ages 18 months to 5 years.
The next screening will be on July 23, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pediatric Specialist Office, 15901 Bass Road, Suite 102, Fort Myers.
The ASD screening is carried out by the children’s clinic. The screenings are carried out by an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who has extensive training and experience in typical child development and developmental disorders.
A doctor’s referral is not required.
