It is only 3 days left until August 4th to upload a copy of your COVID vaccination card to the HWC portal or to apply for a medical or religious exception. Students who upload their vaccination information in a timely manner not only protect themselves and the community from the virus, but also receive a limited edition Lehigh t-shirt and the opportunity to receive a voucher for free coffee from Grind. Review of vaccination
If you have not yet been vaccinated, or if you are vaccinated and have not yet uploaded a copy of your vaccination card, we ask you to do so as soon as possible. Vaccination verification is required for all Lehigh undergraduate and graduate students participating in programs and activities on campus. All students must give their last dose of an approved COVID vaccine at least 14 days prior to their scheduled return to campus. Please note that failure to submit a vaccination certificate or medical / religious exemption request by August 4th will result in student accounts being “blocked”. For students living on campus, failure to complete all required vaccinations and documents may delay your arrival and check-in. If you have not yet been vaccinated, or if you are vaccinated and have not yet uploaded a copy of your vaccination card, we ask you to do so as soon as possible by following these instructions.
Exceptions
If you would like to apply for an exemption for medical or religious reasons, you can do so here. Medical exemption applications are reviewed by the Health and Wellness Center (HWC). Students will be notified by the HWC if additional evidence is required or the application is approved or rejected. Religious exemption requests are reviewed by the Religious Exemption Review Board, a separate review board made up of student affairs staff, pastoral workers, and the Equal Opportunities Bureau. Students who have requested or are about to apply for a religious exemption will receive a secure message from the health and wellness center with instructions on what to do next. Keep an eye out for this information (by August 2nd for those who have already submitted their application) and promptly provide the requested information according to the instructions to the Examination Board for Religious Exemption Applications so that your application can be reviewed and approved or disputed.
