BETHLEHEM, PA. – Lehigh University is proud to announce that the 47th Lehigh Paul Short Run presented by ASICS will take place on Friday October 1st, 2021. This marks the return of the annual event after being canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19. Lehigh will continue to work with local, state and federal agencies to ensure a safe environment for all attendees and viewers. It’s too early to predict how policies and restrictions will affect the event, and all updates will be posted on the Lehigh Paul Short Run website.
The Paul Short Run Committee is still asking coaches to state their intention to participate, but the process will be a little different than it has been in recent years. The letter of intent window will open on different days based on the NCAA departmental classification for each school. The coaches will be emailed a link to the submission form in due course. The timeline is shown below.
Lehigh University is also preparing to host two more important events in 2021. : The Patriot League Championships 2021 on the last weekend of October and the 2021 NCAA Division I Mid-Atlantic Regional on Friday November 12th. Information for everyone for the Lehigh Cross Country home meeting will be available once the schedule is finalized and published.
