Royds Named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week

BETHLEHEM, PA. – Lehigh women’s senior goalkeeper Miranda Royds has been named Goalkeeper of the Week for the Patriot League after her second outage of the young season. Royds scored four saves in a goalless tie at Bucknell on Sunday, improving their season goals to 0.31 from the average and saving the percentage to 91.7.

The Goalkeeper of the Week award marks Royds’ fourth of her career. She made two saves by regulation, then two in overtime as the South Division’s Mountain Hawks record rose to 1-1-1, 1-0-1.

The Mountain Hawks will return home on Saturday when they host Loyola on ESPN + at 5 p.m.
