BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men’s basketball team will play their home-opener against Division III Misericordia at Leeman-Turner Arena in Grace Hall on Sunday. The Mountain Hawks used Grace Hall as their primary home for the program for the first 78 years, up until the opening of Stabler Arena in 1979, where they have been playing ever since.

The Grace Hall game is student-focused with a very limited seating capacity, so non-season ticket holders do not have access to advance ticket purchases for this game. Lehigh (0-2) is looking to bounce back from a 78-52 setback at Virginia Tech Thursday evening. Higgins registered nine points with three rebounds and two assists while Whitney-Sidney tackled on eight points, with seven of his eight points coming in the second half, and adding four rebounds, a team-leading three steals and one assist.

The Mountain Hawks concluded the night shooting 36.5 percent while the Hokies shot 52.5 percent from the field. Virginia shot 27.8 percent (5-18) from beyond the three-point line and 66.8 percent (11-16) at the foul line while Lehigh was 23.8 (5-21) from long distance and 50.0 percent from the free-throw line, attempting just two total in the game.
