Hottinger Named Player of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Frannie Hottinger was named the Patriot League Player of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon.

This is the second player of the week honor for the senior wing after winning the award following the season’s opening week. Hottinger averaged 26 points in two games against this week. She scored a career-high of 34 points, while tallying 13 rebounds in an 81-67 win over Rider on Wednesday.

Hottinger followed that up with another double-figure performance, scoring 18 points against La Salle.

The Inver Grove Heights, Minn. native has recorded double-figures in eight games so far and has had four double-doubles in nine games played. She leads the Patriot League in scoring and is 23rd in the nation in scoring (20.3).

Hottinger and the Mountain Hawks will take on Delaware at home on Dec. 18 after the team breaks for final exams.
