Gary Robert Rissmiller, 67, died unexpectedly, in the early morning of Tuesday, August 2, 2022, with his son by his side. He was born March 8, 1955, son of the late Charles Rissmiller and June Bove.
Gary will be remembered as a kind and caring man who loved his family more than anything else. He had a huge heart and made meaningful connections with those he cared for. Gary had a tremendous passion for music. He was an accomplished jazz drummer, and shared his skills with the students at Muhlenberg College, Lehigh University, and Moravian University as a teacher.
Gary was an avid New York Giants fan, and more recently found a hobby in shooting his guns at the range.
He will be dearly missed by his son, Tyson Rissmiller; grandchildren, Bailey, Keirsten, and Lindsey; great granddaughter, Ava; sister, Cheryl Antonacci; brother, Jim Rissmiller; Nephews, Jarred and family, and James and family; extended family, friends, and bandmates.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 immediately followed by inurnment at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
