BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Three former Lehigh men’s lacrosse standouts have been named to the 25-man rosters for the Premier Lacrosse League, which begins its fourth season on Saturday. Craig Chick is on Atlas, Eddie Bouhall on Chaos and Colin Kirst on Cannons. Nineteen out of the 25 players will dress on game day.

A long-stick midfielder and close defenseman, Chick will be entering his third PLL season and fourth in professional lacrosse. Last season, he finished top 20 in the PLL with 11 caused turnovers while adding 32 groundballs – tied for fifth in the league among non-faceoff specialists. Chick’s first professional season was with the Dallas Rattlers of Major League Lacrosse. In 16 games, Chick recorded 48 groundballs and 20 caused turnovers. The 2019 Lehigh graduate finished his career with 160 caused turnovers, an NCAA Division I record, and was named a second team Media All-American by Inside Lacrosse as a senior. As a rookie, he led the nation with 37 caused turnovers then went on to post 40, 41 and 42 caused turnovers in each of his next three seasons – breaking Lehigh’s single-season program record each time.

A classmate of Chick, Bouhall is on a 25-man PLL roster for the first time in his career. He does have professional experience in the MLL, though, playing eight games with the Atlanta Blaze in 2019 and recording 15 groundballs and eight caused turnovers. Bouhall went on to play four games for the Philadelphia Barrage in the shortened 2020 season, posting nine groundballs and nine caused turnovers. At Lehigh, Bouhall finished his career with 73 caused turnovers, which is third in program history. He was twice named second team All-Patriot League, as a sophomore and junior. He (and Chick) helped the Mountain Hawks to back-to-back league title games in their final two seasons (2018 and 2019).

Former Mountain Hawk goaltender Colin Kirst is on the Cannons’ roster. Kirst was at Lehigh four years from 2017 to 2020, graduating in 2020 before transferring to Rutgers (where his father played) and starting for the Scarlet Knights in 2021 and 2022. Most recently, Kirst helped lead Rutgers to the National Semifinals, and he was named an All-American for the second straight year.
