BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Two goals from sophomore Corinne Lyght on top of goals from sophomore Hope Flanegin and first-year Sophia Lis led the Lehigh women’s soccer team to a 4-2 victory over Loyola Saturday afternoon at the Ulrich Sports Complex. The Mountain Hawks improve to 6-5-2 overall, 4-2-1 in league play and move to fourth-place in the league standings following their victory over the Greyhounds.

Lehigh opened up the game with three shots within the first ten minutes but was unable to place the ball into the back of the net. In the 24th minute, the Mountain Hawks scored their first goal of the game off of a corner kick taken by junior Alex Odle.

Odle’s corner kick was punched away by Loyola goalkeeper Paige Sim, placing the ball just outside the six-yard box for Flanegin to launch in the top left corner of the net.
