Lee Health is asking for help in identifying a patient who arrived unconscious and without identification.

The man was admitted to Gulf Coast Medical Center with a head injury on July 22 after he was found unconscious on the side of a road in Lehigh Acres.

He had no identification on him and is not alert at this time, officials said.

The patient appears to be in his 40s, weighs 130 pounds and is 5 feet 7 inches. He has several tattoos.

Law enforcement officers attempted to identify him by his fingerprints but with no results, officials said, adding he does not fit any missing persons reports and, as of this morning no one had attempted to find him.

One person has now responded to the hospital’s request, which was shared with media outlets, officials said.

Anyone who might know the identity of the patient man is asked to call 239-343-0591.
