Edward Kropinicki Obituary (2022) – Bethlehem, PA

Edward R. Kropinicki, 95, of Nazareth, died in Moravian Hall Square on January 15, 2022.

He was born in Bethlehem on March 31, 1926 to the late Rosalia (Bak) and Alexander Kropinicki.

Edward graduated from Liberty High School; He then served in the United States Navy. After his service, he attended and graduated from East Stroudsburg University and earned his master’s degree in history from Lehigh University. He was a teacher in the Bethlehem Area School District for many years.

Besides his parents, his loving wife Betty Kropinicki precedes him in death; brother, Alex Kropinicki; and sister, Helen Bosak.

He will be greatly missed by his two daughters, Karen (Craig) Collins and Kathleen (Michael) Grube; brother, Chester Kropinicki; Sister Eleanor Stinner; three grandchildren, Matthew, Nathan and Adam; and five great-grandchildren, Frederick, Kathleen, Paige, Boston, and Bryce.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Another viewing will be on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 450 E Washington Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18017, followed by a Christian funeral service. Burial will take place in the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
