Women’s Cross Country Takes Second at UMass Dartmouth Invitational

DARTMOUTH, MASS. (September 17, 2022) – The Stonehill College women’s cross country team had three runners finish in the top 20 out of 285 entries at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational, hosted at Dartmouth’s Robert Dowd Cross Country Course today.

Stonehill totaled 120 points to finish second in the team standings out of 39 teams, behind just the University of Massachusetts Lowell, who took the team title with 54 points. The Skyhawks edged former Northeast-10 Conference foe Southern New Hampshire University (121 points) by just a single point.

  • sophomore Emma Lawrence led the pack for Stonehill by finishing in eighth place out of 285 runners in the field overall, crossing the finish line in 18:20.10.
  • Freshman Jordan Malloy finished close behind in tenth place with her time of 18:21.00.
  • Fifth Year Rebecca Erhard rounded out the top 20 Skyhawks in 16th place with a time of 18:31.57.
