Track and Field Announces 2022-23 Indoor Schedule

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – With the indoor season less than one month away, the Lehigh track and field programs have announced the 2022-23 indoor schedule.

The Mountain Hawks will open up the season with their annual Fast Times Before Finals meet on Dec. 2-3 at Rauch Fieldhouse.

Lehigh will take a month off for finals and the holidays before returning to host its second meet of the indoor season on Jan. 14. The Mountain Hawks will host the Angry Birds Invitational before hitting the road for their first road meets of the season. On Jan. 21, some members of the Lehigh track and field team will travel to Ocean Breeze in Staten Island, NY for the Villanova Invitational while others will remain in Bethlehem for the Moravian Indoor Meet, which will be held in Rauch Fieldhouse.

The Mountain Hawks will host Lafayette in their final home meet of the indoor season on Jan. 28 in the Rivalry presented by Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute.

Lehigh will compete in four different road meets throughout the month of February, starting with the Scarlet Knight Open on Feb. 3-4 at the Armory Track in New York City. The following week, the Mountain Hawks will head back to Ocean Breeze for the Big Apple Invitational on Feb. 11. In its final meet of the regular season, Lehigh will travel to Lewisburg, Pa. for the Bucknell Tune Up on Feb 17.

The Mountain Hawks will then head to Annapolis, Md. for the Patriot League Championships on Feb. 25-26. Navy, who hosted the outdoor championship last spring, will host a Patriot League championship for the second consecutive year.

Following the Patriot League Championship, Lehigh will head to Boston for the ECAC/IC4A Championship on March 3-5. Student-athletes who qualify for the NCAA Championship will travel to New Mexico on March 10-11.

The Mountain Hawks will announce their outdoor schedule once it is completed. Lehigh is set to host the Patriot League Outdoor Championship at the Goodman Track and Field Complex on May 5-6.
