SO CLOSE: Eagles lose to Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII. Pa. pols react | Monday Morning Coffee

Another Super Bowl is in the books. And it’s safe to say that the eyes and ears of just about every Pennsylvanian — and the rest of the nation — were locked on the action in Arizona on Sunday night.

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 in a hard-fought battle in Glendale, Ariz. on Sunday night . And moments after the final whistle, Pennsylvania’s political and chattering classes weighed in. Below, a sampling of what they had to say.

Gov. Josh Shapiro: “A tough loss but proud of this @Eagles team. The future looks bright. See you next season.”
