Baby, it’s cold outside. Here’s a good way to warm up: Get tickets for ArtsQuest’s 8th annual Souper Bowl, noon-3 pm Saturday.
Taste soups by some of the top restaurants and caterers in the region and vote for your favorite, with the winning restaurant named the Souper Bowl Champion. A panel of judges will also sample the soups and choose the best entries in six categories: vegetarian, seafood, cream, meat, ethnic and most original.
Participants include: Cafe the Lodge, Bethlehem; Cathy’s Creative Catering & Cafe, Catasauqua; Copperhead Cricket, Allentown; Forks Mediterranean Deli, Easton; Hotel Bethlehem; Iron Lakes Country Club, Allentown; Molly’s Irish Grille & Sports Pub, Bethlehem; Penn Pizza Mill Creek, Allentown; Roosevelt’s 21st, Bethlehem; Shankara Vegan Restaurant, Bethlehem; Southside 313 Bar and Grille, Bethlehem; The Steel Pub, Bethlehem; The View at Morgan Hill, Easton; and Whole Foods Market, Lower Macungie Township.
Proceeds support ArtsQuest’s art and education programs for area students. Since the first Dinner Bowl in 2010, more than $85,000 has been raised.
It’s at Musikfest Cafe at SteelStacks, Bethlehem. Tickets are $35; $30, ArtsQuest members (VIP tickets sold out).
