BETHLEHEM, Pa. – For the second time this season, first-year Laura Reigle has been named Patriot League Rookie of the Week, announced by the league on Tuesday evening.

The Hilton, NY native, who broke a school record in her first collegiate meet, continues to shine in her first year at Lehigh. Reigle won the pole vault for the second time this season at Lehigh’s Angry Birds Invitational last Saturday. The first year won the event with a height of 3.65m.

Reigle is currently ranked first in the Patriot League after opening the season with a mark of 3.96m at Fast Times Before Finals.

The Lehigh women’s track and field team has a busy weekend in store as the team will compete in two meets. While some Mountain Hawks will travel to Staten Island, NY for the Villanova Invitational, others will remain in Bethlehem for the Moravian Indoor Meet, which will be hosted by Moravian inside Rauch Fieldhouse.
