Penn State Lehigh Valley Day is returning to Bethlehem’s Main Street on Saturday.

The second annual event is a fundraiser for pediatric cancer and offers participants discounts at many Bethlehem businesses.

A Penn State-themed party will be held on Main Street, with an 11 am opening ceremony at the 1810 Goundie House at 505 Main St. The Nittany Lion will roam the street, and the event includes live music and family-friendly activities.

The event offers a $10 passport, 100 percent of which goes to pediatric cancer research. Participating businesses also will be donating 5 percent of their sales from 11 am to 6 pm to pediatric cancer research. The Downtown Bethlehem Association is organizing the event.

Passport holders are offered discounts at participating businesses, including a free scoop of ice cream at The Shoppe at Hotel Bethlehem’s Penn State Berkey Creamery ice cream shop.
