Mountain Hawks to Travel to Bucknell on Saturday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men’s and swimming and diving team will compete in a familiar place this week when the Mountain Hawks travel to Lewisburg on Saturday for a 12 pm meet against Bucknell.

From here on out, Lehigh will compete in Lewisburg for the rest of this season. After the dual meet, the Mountain Hawks will go back to Lewisburg for the Bucknell Invitational on Jan. 28 and the Patriot League Championships, which run from Feb. 15-Feb. 18

Lehigh is 2-5 so far and is coming off of a loss to Seton Hall, while Bucknell is 5-2. The Bison’s only losses this season are to Army and Navy. Lafayette is the only common opponent that these two teams both defeated.

The 200-yard freestyle relay team with Aaron Williams, Aiden McCurley, Tim Norris and Alex Patti finished in first place against Seton Hall with a time of 1:23.90.

Tim Norris was the only other Mountain Hawk to finish in first. He swam the 100-yard freestyle (46.75).

Lehigh and Bucknell met last year, where the Bison came away with a 193-105 victory. Patti finished in third in the 50-yard freestyle (21.46) last season.
