LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell jumped out to a 7-0 lead after two innings, and the Lehigh baseball team couldn’t recover, falling 20-3 in the series finale Sunday in Lewisburg. Despite Sunday’s result, the Mountain Hawks (20-19, 8-10 PL) come out of the weekend with a big series victory over the Bison (17-21, 13-9 PL) after sweeping Saturday’s doubleheader. Senior Casey Rother paced Lehigh with two hits on the afternoon.

Rother finished 2-for-4 with a walk (his fourth straight multi-hit game), RBI and run scored. First-year Sam Holtz and sophomore Tyler Young knocked in Lehigh’s other runs.

A Rother third-inning single drove into sophomore Andrew Nole, who led off the inning with a walk. That pulled the Mountain Hawks within 7-1. Lehigh went on to load the bases, but Bucknell starting pitcher Austin Odell got out of the jam.
