SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Abigail Malczon of Cromwell made the dean’s list at Slippery Rock University for the spring 2022 semester. It consists of undergraduate students who earned an adjusted semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, based on a schedule of at least 12 credits.
Lasell University
NEWTON, Mass. — Olivia Beckwith, a recent Lasell University graduate from the Higganum section of Haddam, completed a Capstone research project as part of her work in the honors program, focusing on global cultures. Beckwith created a list of articles pertaining to the theme, and wrote a preface for each.
In other news, Dalton Brown of Killingworth was recognized for outstanding collaboration in the spring 2022 semester.
Brown received the most peer nominations in his exercise science field experience. He also received a collaboration award in the exercise testing and prescription lab course. Recipients are selected by peers for their superior skills in collaboration by sharing ideas and information, communicating in a professional manner, and cooperating in a way to ensure success.
Shenandoah University
WINCHESTER, Va. — Nathan Szymanski of the Ivoryton section of Essex earned a spot on the dean’s list at Shenandoah University for the spring semester. To qualify, students enrolled in baccalaureate degree programs must complete at least 12 semester hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Kutztown University
KUTZTOWN, Pa. — Mary E Czarzasty of Old Saybrook was named to the spring 2022 dean’s list at Kutztown University. To be eligible, an undergraduate must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum GPA of 3.60.
Castleton University
CASTLETON, Vt. — Elijah Cyr of Middletown and Abigail Larkin of the Higganum section of Haddam were named to the Castleton University dean’s list for the spring semester. To qualify, one must maintain full-time status and a semester GPA of 3.5.
Iowa State University
AMES, Iowa — Iowa State University student Rachel M. D’Andrea of Middletown, who is majoring in veterinary medicine, was recognized for outstanding academic achievement on the spring semester dean’s list. Each must earn a GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours.
