Mystic CT- Marie Theresa (Deveau) St. Pierre, 93, from Hatch St. died on June 18, 2021 in her home with her daughter by her side.

Marie was born on March 9, 1928 in New London CT to the late William and Mary Agnes (Gaudette) Doucette Deveau.

Marie was an avid volunteer during her stay in Florida and served on the board of directors and / or held leadership roles in the following organizations: SW Florida International Airport, Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce, Lehigh Acres Senior Center, The Canada Club and the Bike Club, among other. She loved to crochet, play cards, and read, especially Danielle Steele.

She leaves her partner Theodore âTedã Urban, daughters Renee Savage and husband Dennis, Raeleen St. Pierre and husband Mark Casati, from their sons Randy St. Pierre and wife Pat, Robin St. Pierre and wife Dana, Ricky St. Pierre and wife Sherry and her sister Barbara Leger and grandchildren; Raylene, Robbie, Ryan, Stephanie, Bethany, Christopher, Ashley, Evangelina, Hailey, Marshall, Alex, Jennifer and 13 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 57 years Joseph AR St. Pierre, the sons Ronald St. Pierre and Rodney St. Pierre, the brother Joseph âStanleyã Deveau, the sisters Lucy Livermore, Martha Hazler, Lillian Belliveau, Josephine Benson.

The visitation will take place at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, 53 Rte. 32 in Montville CT Wednesday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A funeral mass is celebrated at St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer’s Church, 69 Groton Long Point Rd. Groton on Thursday at 10 a.m., meeting point directly at the church. The funeral at Florida National Veterans Cemetery will take place at a later date.
