Lehigh to Take on Seton Hall For the First Time
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After more than a month off due to finals and winter break, Lehigh women’s swimming and diving will return to action against Seton Hall at home on Friday at 1 pm
The meet was originally supposed to be at Seton Hall, but will now be a home meet for Lehigh. This will be Lehigh’s second and final home meet of the season.
The Mountain Hawks are 4-2. Their most recent meet was against Drexel on Dec. 3, where they were downed 196-89.
The Pirates are 2-3. Their last dual meet was against Drexel on Nov. 16, and they were also defeated by the Dragons. Seton Hall and Lehigh both have wins against Rider. The Pirates have also faced Patriot League foe Army West Point.
Lehigh has been led by both senior Sarah Hardy and sophomore Sarah Gill. They were the only ones who came out with first-place finishes against Drexel. Gil is unbeaten in both the one-meter and the three-meter dive.
Hardy won the 50-yard butterfly in the dual meet against the Dragons.
Friday’s meet will mark the first ever meeting between Lehigh and Seton Hall.
This will be the last non-conference meet of the season for Lehigh. The Mountain Hawks will take on Bucknell on Jan. 21 at 12 pm in Lewisburg.
