Lehigh to Take on Colgate in First Patriot League Road Game

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After picking up back-to-back wins for the first time this season, the Lehigh women’s basketball team will look to keep it rolling when the Mountain Hawks take on Colgate in Hamilton, NY, Monday at 4 pm

Lehigh is 46-28 all-time against Colgate, having won the previous four meetings.

Senior Anna Harvey scored a career-high of 13 points the last time the Mountain Hawks played at Colgate on Jan 2nd 2022.

Lehigh won its Patriot League opener game against Army on Friday, 90-68, while Colgate was defeated by Loyola in overtime.

The Mountain Hawks have an overall record of 5-7, while the Raiders are 6-6.

Four different Lehigh players finished in double figures against Army, while all available players saw action.

Frannie Hottinger recorded her sixth double-double of the season. This game also marked the 11th game she’s finished in double figures. Mackenzie Kramer (18 points), Kaylee Van Eps (13) and Jamie Behar (13) were the other Lehigh players to reach double figures.

The Mountain Hawks put up 90 points against the Black Knights, which was the third time Lehigh has put up at least 90 points in a game. They currently lead the Patriot League in scoring, averaging 74.8 points per game.

Colgate is the third highest scoring team in the league. The Red Raiders are putting up 61.8 points per game.

Colgate is led by Taylor Golembiewski, who is averaging 13.8 points per game. Golembiewski was held to just two points in Colgate’s loss to Loyola.

There were no common opponents between the two in their non-league schedules.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Following Monday’s game, Lehigh will return to Stabler Arena for its next two games as the Mountain Hawks will host Bucknell on Thursday and Navy on Sunday, Jan. 8.
