BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men’s soccer team will travel to Army West Point on Saturday for a 7 pm showdown against the Black Knights.

The Mountain Hawks come into the match with an overall record of 3-6-3 (2-2-2 PL), while Army is 7-3-3 (4-1-1).

Lehigh got the better of Army last season, defeating the Black Knights 2-1 at the Ulrich Sports Complex last October.

The series is tied 22-22-7. The Black Knights currently sit at the top of the Patriot League standings with 13 points. Their only conference loss came to American, and they tied Boston University. The Mountain Hawks are tied with Lafayette and Loyola for sixth in the Patriot League standings.

First-year goalkeeper Tommy Chyzowych is coming off a career-best performance, where he saved nine shots against Navy. Chyzowych was also named Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Monday.

Senior Jack Sarkos now stands at the top of the Patriot League with eight goals after scoring his most recent one against the Midshipmen on Oct.15, which was the game-tying goal. Army’s Gage Guera is tied for second in the league with seven goals.

Saturday’s game will be broadcast on ESPN+.

The Mountain Hawks will return home on Oct. 25 against the Drexel Dragons at 6 pm
