A firefighter and two people were hurt Thursday evening in a Lehigh County house fire.
Fire crews were called at 7:48 pm to the single-family home on Bastian Lane in Upper Macungie Township.
Three people were reported to have suffered smoke inhalation. Township Fire Commissioner Peter Christ said a firefighter and two residents were taken for treatment as a precaution.
The fire appears to have started in the kitchen and is currently under investigation by Trexlertown Fire Company fire marshal, Christ said.
No other homes were damaged and the fire marshal cleared the scene by about 11 pm, the commissioner added.
